Simon Firth - Spooky EP
UK based artist Simon Firth has created two new tracks for his "Spooky" EP. Dealing generally in well-arranged percussion and the coolness of atmospheric instrumentation and effects with occasional nods to the techy side of things, the EP gets a release under moonChild Records.
"Spooky" opens along the path with a tight kick and fills against growing sustained ambiance and harmonious synths. With additional touches of emphasized tech arrangements, the track chatters into simple but effective melodies that rely over elastic synths, while varied fills blurt out maintaining the excellent flow of the track as it swells before the outro."Twitching" is the well-rounded progressive track of the pack, one where the percussion is predominant. Traditional snares and Firth's fills sprinkle onto the mix as both the layered bass lines and tuneful synths grow with time.
With the consistency of "Spooky" and "Twitching", Simon Firth has a solid release on his hands.
