Huba&Silica was formed in early 2008 as the quirk but flowing blend of electro, dancehall, drum&bass, hiphop and even stoner rock  backgrounds of Huba (voice) and Silica (noize).    By November 2008, the project released their first album “El Origen de las Especies”, which is already sold-out and received unexpectedly good critic support in Canada, Mexico, the US and Venezuela, besides their own country, where the album was nominated as “electronic production of the year” and was selected as underground record of the year by ArtStudioMagazine.

Now Huba&Silica comes back with “DasKapital”, a conceptual album full of space disco, raw electro sounds and drum&bass that deals about living in the post-industrial age and will be released  through  2010.

The album’s first single “MisterClean”, tells the story of an imposible robotic love and is released under Moonchild Records.
